Q1: What is the difference with R1 Kit 2120100222G?
This R1-Pro motor kit has inner rotor, which is smaller and more quieter.

Q2: Can I set max speed and voltage on display?
No. The max speed is defaulted to 25 km/h. The voltage is defaulted to 36V. These settings are no need to changed. And the limit can't be canceled.

Q3: Can I change controller or display to increase max speed?
No. Other controllers or displays are not compatible with this kind of 250W rear motor kit.

Q4: The battery doesn't work?
This rear battery has sleep function. Please activate it by pressing battery indicator button every time before use.

La conexión a la batería es muy floja

Estoy un poco decepcionada con el sistema de conexión. Las conexiones se sueltan muy fácilmente y el motor deja de funcionar.

El otro kit me parece mucho mejor. Las funciones no se sueltan

E Bike Kit 36 V Frontmotor

Hallo,
Ich habe den E-Bike Kit in ein KTM Veneto Bike eingebaut. Das Vorderrad und der Gepäckträger ließen sich einfach tauschen, auch Beleuchtung und Verkabelung waren einfach zu installieren. Die Bremshebel konnte ich nicht verwenden, da sie nicht in das Shimano Konzept passen, ich habe dafür die separaten Sensoren nachbestellt. Die Sensoren waren einfach zu befestigen, die Magnete dafür habe mittels Schrauben an den Bremshebeln befestigt.
Der Sensor für das Tretlager passte überhaupt nicht, da der Innendurchmesser des Sensors zu klein ist. Ich musste die konische Vierkantwelle des Tretlagers, an der dicksten Stelle, mit einem Minischleifer so lange abschleifen, bis es passte, das hat lange gedauert da der Sensor sehr filigran ist und ich ihn beim dauernden Anpassen nicht beschädigen wollte, aber es funktionierte. Hier würde ich mir eine andere Lösung wünschen, denn ohne den Minischleifer hätte es nicht funktioniert. Die Inbetriebnahme des Sets klappte gut, für die Bedienunganleitung des Bedienpanels würde ich mir eine deutsche Anleitung wünschen und nicht im Mini Format, trotzdem hat alles funktioniert.
Die ersten Probefahrten waren voll zufriedenstellend.

The product was good. I am very satisfied with the bargain.

Motor error and poor customer service

I have assembled 4 bikes with this kit so far and no issues until the latest one. The motor has clearly an error: periodic noise with aggressive pull on assist level 3 and above. I sent a video of this to customer service, and explained thoroughly the error and troubleshooting process. Their solution was suggesting me to send back the front wheel for investigation. When asked about how long this would take they said 2-3 weeks, and it's not possible to send a new front wheel right away. I told them this is unacceptable, to which their solution is to pack up and send back the entire kit (disassemble it again) and order a new one, then refunding the original one. This is a huge amount of work so I'm disappointed and would have expected better cooperation from them, especially after proof of the error and offering to send more videos/images.

Sorry for that. As you are not in Germany, our repair office is in Germany, it takes 2-3 weeks includes come and back shipment and checking. As long as you need a new motor kit ASAP, we suggest you to buy a new kit again. Then a new kit can be sent immediately. And we have sent you an return label already. You can send back the first kit back to us. After the first kit is arrived in our warehouse, the money will be refunded soon also. It is the faster way to get a good kit again. We can't send a new kit before the first kit back to us. Thank you for kind understanding.
