The assist-levels are not very suitable compared to other systems. At low stages 1..3 there is too much assist but only to a certain low speed. Above that speed no more power will be delivered. It seems there is no real current control (Only Voltage-control) implemented, since limiting max. current via display does not work either. Additional there is an issue with the measuring of bat. voltage: If there is any current flowing bat. voltage will be frozen till the current reaches zero(No more Load) This is unacceptable because it hides the lowering of the battery while driving under load for longer time. The system is only usable with throttle control or permanent changing the assist-levels. Throttle control AND pedalling-sensor does not work together.

Fantastic kit with everything needed to get up and cycling. Installation was as simple as putting a Lego set together. I watched a couple of YouTube videos beforehand to familiarize myself with the process and converted two bikes in around 3 hours. Its given the bikes a new lease of life and they are used daily, even for a 20km ride to work. Super product, super instructions and well worth the money. Couldn't be happier.

I cycle to work most days, but there is a really steep hill along the route. I decided to try the Yose Power Conversion Kit to help get me up that hill!
Delivery took four or five days. Everything was well packaged and included the specialist tools needed for removing the rear wheel cassette and the front pedal arm.
The wheel itself is sturdy, with strong, robust spokes. The crossbar bag is clever, with a hole to allow the various cables to be fed through. My only concern through the whole installation was that the PAS needed quite a bit of force to get it onto the crank shaft. I was worried that it would break, but it didn't!
The system is responsive and very quiet, with the booster/accelerator being great for hill starts.
Pedaling is still required, so I'm still getting some exercise, but windy days and that hill are no longer a problem.
I used a battery that I already had, but I'm thinking of upgrading to a Yose Power version.
Anyway, great product, easily installed - highly recommended!

I had a totem Ospery e-bike that went bad. I had hard time working with the totem technical support so I got fed up and ordered this replacement kit from Yose Power. It took me about 3 hours to install. I managed to hide the controller and the cables internally in place of the original components so the bike looks clean and handy. I also have the luxury of the throttle which I did not have before. On the other hand, I have three notes to mention. One is that the Julet connectors for the brake sensor which is part of the 1T4 cable supplied are 3pin (yellow) and are not compatible with the 2pin (red) on my my hydraulic brake handles. It would be nice to have this 1T4 cable with the 2pin (red) julet connectors as an option. The second is that the motor seems to disconnect frequently at low cadence levels 1 and 2). It seems that the display is programmed inappropriately at low cadence levels. The third note is that the display supplied by Yose (Dashi C500) is locked as I couldn’t get into all the settings as the regular Dashi C500 which you could find over the web. Anyway the kit is excellent and the motor has excellent torque. Thanks Yose.
