I'm not exaggerating, I spent two long hours trying to put it in and there was no way to get it to go in completely, it went in very hard, so much so that I thought it was going to break and I had to make myself a tool to make sure that all the force was even and that it went in straight with force and even then it didn't go in all the way because I didn't want to risk it breaking anymore, this did leave me a little dislocated because in the videos it looks very easy, I checked that everything was ok, I even sanded a little to ensure smoothness and nothing. For the rest, as I said, everything is perfect, let's hope that the sensor doesn't end up breaking from being so hard and keep testing it for autonomy. Thank you very much for everything. On the other hand, I would have chosen a rear motor kit with a rear rack battery (like the R1 kit) if this option existed. Maybe in the near future for an other bike?

This is with the new Display NOT possible. This can cause problems in Germany. If the officials get knowledge of this, you can not sell your set in Germany. The kit was very easy to assemble. The only thing was the fact that the battery is quite heavy and my bike had only two screws I could easily use to mount it. And since even paved roads where I am biking are sometimes bumpy I was a bit worried of vibration. So I used some time to make a special mounting using beech and glass fibre so that the battery lies horizontally on a flat surface. Seems to work well and biking is a pleasant experience. I am already over 70 and at that age uphills and headwinds tend to be tougher than some decades ago. But with electric assistance they are quite enjoyable. One thing I started thinking: Without assistance a biker naturally tries to use all gained speed/height without wasting it using brakes. With assistance it is not so and I guess I might wear the breaks out quicker, not a big thing though.
