I purchased these because I could not use the brake levers with incorporated cut-out switch supplied with the conversion kit due to my brake levers being incorporated into the Shimano gear change shifter system, so these are a must if you have similar incorporated brake levers, or you have a hydraulic brake system.
It took a bit of thought to get the best operation out of these sensors on my particular levers, but using a combination of twin pack epoxy resin, spacers, double-sided sticky pads and cable ties I was able to get the motor to cut out whenever I apply my brakes, which is a great safety feature. I found plenty of videos on YouTube to see how other people mounted their sensors and magnets, so I was able to mount mine in a similar way.
Just a word of caution. The magnets are very strong and can attach themselves to other ferrous objects very easily. One of my magnets attracted itself to the other magnet at great force and shattered in two. However, a quick email to Yose Power and a replacement was quickly sent.
Now my Yose Power rear motor ebike is fully functioning and working fantastically.
